What a great meet!  DuQuoin barely edged their way ahead at the end with 475 points.  We were a close 2nd with 449 points.  Everyone worked so hard and despite an abrupt ending, this meet was one of the best meets this season.  Marion did a great job organizing championships, and I know we had a great time competing. :) Thank you to all the workers and all the swimmers for a great day. 

A couple reminders- practice next week is from 8:30-9:30 for any swimmer competing at All-Stars.  Also, our team party/awards banquet is on Tuesday, August 2nd at 5:30.  We will meet in the park right by the pool parking lot and swim afterwards (specific swim times will be emailed tomorrow.).  There will be a meal with drinks and table service provided (hotdogs, hamburgers, etc.).  The only thing you will need to bring is chairs.
