Hello!

There is a qualifying ALL STAR MEET after Champs on August 4th.  We are heading to a new pool...Effingham!  Hopefully, many of you can attend, since it is closer now. Plus, Effingham has new facilities that will make this meet exciting...an 8 lane indoor pool, touchpads, a gymnasium with awesome speakers to hear all the events.  It should be fun!

Now to qualify for this meet your swimmer has to place in the TOP 8 in at least 1 event at champs (please note that the packet I attached says TOP 6, but they have changed this to TOP 8).  If they qualify in 1 event, they may then enter up to 4 events (whether they place top 8 or not in the other 3) . Each event costs $5/event. 

At championships there will be a table to sign your swimmer up for the ALL STAR MEET. As soon as your swimmer earns a TOP 8 spot, please head to the table to sign them up and pay. They will have t-shirt orders, a parent worker sign up sheet, and all information for you. We will send out warm ups next week.  There will be practice with Coach Suzy Monday-Wednesday (July 30-Aug.1st) from 8:00-9:15 am for ALL STAR swimmers only.

I have attached the T-shirt order form, too. They said to ignore the deadline, so if you want to order one, you can at champs, or you should call on Monday to make arrangements to get a shirt ordered.
