Hello!

Welcome, Everyone!! We are so glad all of you have decided to join us for the 2018 swim season! We have a new coach, and even though we are very sad to see Coach Alexa leave and finish college, we are EXCITED to have our very own Little Lambs Superstar, Coach Suzy Hope join us!! For those new parents...please ask any veteran parent or respond to this email, and we can help you out! The first season can be overwhelming, but please know that it all comes together, and we are big family ready to help you out! :)

It is time to register for our first swim meet. :) The DEADLINE is June 3rd (Sunday). We switched to a new website, so the process will be slightly different. Please follow the directions below and as usual, please let me know (Joli) if you have any difficulties. You have to have an account with a password to sign up for the meet. You should have gotten an email to set up a password after registration. If you did not, please click on the "forgot password" link under the "login" tab. Follow the directions, and you will be set.

Then, click on "swim meets". (I only have one swim meet open at this time, so I can get the volunteer forms ready before opening the others. I will let you know when they open.)

Click on the button that says "Meet Entry Open".

Click on the "edit" button at the bottom.

Then select "attending this meet" or "not attending this mee". (PLEASE tells us either way on this! We text and double check with everyone who hasn't declared, and it saves us time if you have already declared what your swimmers are doing before the deadline. Thank you in advance for taking care of this.)

Then click "save". As far as I can tell there is not an indicator to let you know if you haven't signed up for a meet or not (If you notice one, let me know. :) ). You will just have to make note of what you have RSVP'd to.

IMMEDIATELY after RSVPing "yes", please go directly to the top of of the screen and volunteer. You will click on "sign up for job shifts". (PLEASE volunteer if you have a swimmer at the meet [or mention in the coach's note if you can't.] We text everyone who has not signed up to assign jobs, and it saves us a lot of time if you have already chosen a job for yourself. Everyone is expected to work a shift unless you are alone at a meet with small children. Thank you in advance for helping our team out in this way.)

We have not received meet packets for the Herrin Invitational, so I do not know what they want for jobs or how long the shifts will be. We do still want you to pick a job to work at the meet, so we can get that process started. What you pick may not be what you work, but we try our best to accommodate your choice.

You are now all set! :) If your RSVP changes after the deadline, please let Coach Suzy know ASAP or respond to an email or the remind app. This also saves us a lot of time when we know exactly who is going to be at a meet.
